A piece of Seattle history! Turn of the century, antique needlepoint and leather chair from Hotel Savoy Seattle.
Leather back is embossed with “Hotel Savoy Seattle”
Sturdy and structurally sound. Great antique condition. Wear, dings, scratches in wood frame consistent with age. Needlepoint seat in excellent condition- colors are vibrant, little to no wear found. Leather back shows some wear on front corner. On back side, the leather split just below the nailhead trim for several inches. See photos for details.
Partial label under seat dates this chair to 1911-1926

Hotel Savoy was built in 1905-06. It was demolished in 1986 to build the 55-story WaMu Tower.
